ttt2015

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish where each week we get a new topic for a top ten list.

Today’s Topic ~ Ten Books For Readers Who Like Fluff!

Basically, these books made me really, really happy while reading. Not much drama, lots of smiles, funny, etc.

1

My Life Next Door | Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda | Boomerang | Ask Again Later | Romancing the Duke | Accidentally Married on Purpose | Jesse’s Girl | Also Known As | Whatever Life Throws At You | The Fill-In Boyfriend

Had enough smiles for one day? Head over to Andi’s post @ Andi’s ABCs – she’s recommending emotional books that will give you a good cry (I would know, I’ve read many of them!).

  1. Simon was just amazing! I absolutely loved the romance, the friendship and everything in between. Smiles all around!

I didn’t love Boomerang as a whole, but the humorous moments definitely got me to laugh. :)

Ask Again Later was sooooo cute. Go Spleen! <3

Whatever Life Throws at You's one of my favorite NA romances. Lovely paced romance and a very sweet hero. ^_^

I can't wait for Jesse's Girl AND The Fill-In Boyfriend. *grabby hands because they both look gorgeous*

  2. I can’t wait to reread Jesse’s Girl (I have that swag for you too. Just need to send it) and The Fill-in Boyfriend. The others I have read warm my heart!

  3. I loveeeee Whatever Life Throws At You! But dude, MLND was not fluff…there are some parts that I had a breakdown reading LOL! And I still have Simon saved…I need to savor it but I’ll read soon :) Hahaha I didn’t directly link you but I definitely wrote that they should check out your fluff after they go thru my dark themed reading list haha

  4. I totally think Boomerang is substantial fluff (if that makes any sense)! It was like a romantic comedy rolled into a book, which explains why I enjoyed it as much as I did. Love that you chose to focus on lighter, fun reads for this week – there are definitely a few I need to check out!

  5. Ohh, I haven’t read any of these books :) But they do look pretty cute :D Gorgeous covers. <3 Amazing post Danielle. Thank you so much for sharing :D I'm not planning on reading any of them right now :\ but hopefully one day. <3 I hope you will find a bunch more amazing books full of fluff sweetie :D

  6. My Life Next Door is an old favorite of mine! And I JUST read Whatever Life Throws At You, SOOOO GOOD! I can’t wait to read The Fill In Boyfriend, it looks amazing!
Thanks for sharing, will definitely add the others to my to-read!

  7. I AM DYING FOR THE FILL-IN BOYFRIEND! Love, love, love Kasie West! (And I very much need to read On the Fence, which I have sitting on my shelf). I started Boomerang once but wasn’t in the mood for it, but I really want to try it again. And also, gah, I MUST read My Life Next Door! I can’t believe I haven’t yet. I do love fluffy books, but I have to be in like the perfect mood for them, which is why I don’t read them often. Haha. I love my dark and angsty reads a bit too much.

Awesome recs that I want to read soon! I will be sure to use my fluffy blanket when reading them, too. :)

  8. I do love these kinds of reads! My Life Next Door and Accidentally Married on Purpose are two of my favorite books! I love that you included them. :) I am so excited for The Fill-In Boyfriend! I keep stalking EW, LOL. I also want to start Miranda’s series this year too! Oh and I WILL read Whatever Life Throws At You over spring break. :D Great list lovely!

  9. ME ME ME ME I LIKE FLUFF! And some of my favs are on here. I WANT TO READ SIMON SO BAD AND IT FEELS LIKE EVERYBODY HAS READ THIS BOOK BUT ME (gross over-exaggeration) *WAILS* Whatever Life Throws and You and Jesse’s Girl are going on the TBR!

  10. Love this! Fluff books are VERY powerful! They’re so reread able! I was so obsessed with Boomerang last summer (toaster thong!) and I just finished AKA today <3 ROUX!!! I can't wait to read Simon and I should probably ummm read a Kasie West book by now *hides*

  11. I really want to try Tessa Dare. Love a good historical romance when I remember to pick them up. Light on drama? I’m so there! Great post, Danielle! :)

  12. When it comes to contemporary books, I definitely like light and fluffy, books that just make me smile. There can be some drama, obviously, but I usually try and stay away from depressing and emotional books. I can’t wait to read Jesse’s Girl and Fill-In Boyfriend!

  13. I LOVE FLUFF!! Especially after a more emotional or stressful read. The majority of what I read could probably be considered as fluff, honestly. I’ve read half of your picks above, and trust me, I WILL be checking out the ones I haven’t yet read. I’m dying to get my hands on The Fill-in Boyfriend and Jesse’s Girl once they’re released. I’m a HUGE Kasie West fangirl. <3 Great picks!

  14. Ooh oooh oooh I have a ton of these books on my TBR list, like My Life Next Door, Boomerang, Ask Again Later, and The Fill-In Boyfriend. I read Whatever Life Throws At You and LOVED IT! Great list :)
